In October 2008, I entered a statewide contest, searching for a Native American license plate design. My design was selected! Here's the catch: They need 900 pre-orders BEFORE the license plates can go into production. So if you're waiting for them to just appear at your county clerk's office, you won't see them. And don't ask them about ordering one, because they are not involved at that level, and know nothing about it. The only way to get one is to pre-order it, using the form below, and mail it to the Kentucky Heritage Council. As of mid-February, they'd only received 100 orders. So obviously, most of you haven't taken action yet. Get on it!
